Olajumoke Oladipo, MBBS, MSc, is an Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Penn State College of Medicine. She practices at the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where she serves as the Associate Medical Director of the Automated Testing Laboratory. Dr. Oladipo is board-certified in clinical pathology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Chemistry (DABCC).Â
Dr. Oladipo earned her medical degree from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria and holds an MSc in Clinical Pathology from the University of Lagos. Her postgraduate medical training in the United States includes an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch and a clinical chemistry fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. Before her appointment at Penn State, she gained extensive experience as a consultant chemical pathologist in Nigeria.Â
Her clinical and research focus involves diagnostic laboratory medicine, with specific expertise in clinical chemistry and coagulation testing. As of 2025, she remains a key contributor to her field, serving on the editorial board for Pathology Outlines and actively mentoring pathology residents and clinical chemistry fellows. She is also involved in departmental leadership and interdisciplinary programs, including the blood banking and transfusion medicine fellowship faculty
