David O. Henriquez Ticas, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Pathology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and a consultant pathologist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, possessing specialized fellowship training in both medical renal pathology and genitourinary pathology from the University of Washington. His clinical practice and academic interests are focused on the diagnostic evaluation of complex kidney diseases and urological malignancies.
Dr. Henriquez earned his medical degree from the Universidad Del Salvador Faculty of Medicine and completed his pathology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. In addition to his clinical roles at Northwestern Medicine, he is actively involved in the education of medical students and residents. He is also a recognized advocate for diversity and inclusion within the medical field, frequently mentoring students and professionals from underrepresented backgrounds as they pursue careers in pathology and laboratory medicine.
