Javed Siddiqui is a Senior Managing Director and the Head of National and Strategic Partnerships for the University of Michigan’s Office of University Development. In this role, he leads a team dedicated to fostering large-scale, multidisciplinary philanthropic partnerships across the university’s diverse schools and colleges. His work primarily focuses on aligning donor interests with the university’s strategic priorities, including significant fundraising initiatives for the Aga Khan University and University of Michigan Partnership, which aims to strengthen healthcare systems and research capacity in East Africa and Central Asia.
Prior to his current position, he served as the Director of International Major Gifts, where he managed development efforts across regions such as the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia. His professional background includes extensive experience in international relations and institutional advancement, having worked with organizations such as the American University of Sharjah. At the University of Michigan, his leadership is central to the Office of University Development’s mission of securing the resources necessary to support global health equity, academic innovation, and student success.
