Dr. Amir Dehghani, MD, is a board-certified Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Michigan Medical School, specializing in cytopathology, gynecologic pathology, and perinatal pathology. With over 15 years of diverse medical training and clinical experience, his practice centers on using meticulous microscopic evaluations and fine-needle aspirations to diagnose complex oncological and reproductive conditions. Dr. Dehghani earned his medical degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences [1] before completing his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he also completed a specialized fellowship in cytopathology. Driven by a deep-seated commitment to medical education, he actively trains the next generation of physicians while advancing diagnostic research in surgical pathology and cellular analysis.
