Dr. Rajendra Singh is Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and a globally recognized leader in digital pathology, dermatopathology, and artificial intelligence in medicine. He serves as Associate Vice Chair for Digital Pathology and has been at the forefront of transforming pathology education, diagnostics, and global collaboration through innovative digital technologies.
Dr. Singh is the founder of PathPresenter, one of the world’s largest digital pathology education and collaboration platforms, connecting tens of thousands of users across more than 180 countries. His work has significantly expanded access to pathology education and expertise worldwide, particularly in resource-limited settings.
His clinical and research interests include dermatopathology, melanoma, digital pathology, computational pathology, and artificial intelligence applications in diagnostic medicine. Dr. Singh currently serves as Co-Chair of the World Health Organization (WHO) Digital Pathology Committee and is an active leader within numerous international pathology organizations.
A highly respected educator and mentor, Dr. Singh has received multiple teaching excellence awards and has been recognized on The Pathologist Power List on several occasions. His contributions to the field have been honored with the College of American Pathologists (CAP) Lifetime Achievement Award and the CAP Meritorious Service Award.
